Spanking Doll???

Let me tell ya how I came across this video, and maybe someone who is good at looking things up can help me find what I was actually looking for.

Last night, I was putting my daughter to bed and was having her do the necessary stuff beforehand, go to the bathroom, etc. The tv was still on in her room on a channel called Boomerang where they play a lot of the old cartoons (Popeye, Scooby Doo, old Mickey Mouse, Tom and Jerry, etc) and Popeye had just come on.

As I picked up the remote to turn off the tv, sweet pea was crawling away crying and Popeye was saying, "you heard me. Go to bed!" An angel appeared on Popeye's shoulder, and just as I was about to hit the OFF button, I heard the "S" word.

So, of course, I stopped.

The angel said, "awwww, you shouldn't have spanked him...."

That prompted an internet search for the clip. The only reference I was able to find on it was in someone's blog whose kids had watched it and he was making commentary on it. He said it was from 1938, he had thought, and the title of it was "Don't spanks the baby"

In the process, I found this commercial.

Anyway, if anyone could find this clip and post it, I'd be grateful
