Two things:
First, my apologies for not chiming in sooner on the FMS BeachParty. Sounds like it was a doozie of a party. My congratulations to the organizers for a job obviously well done. Second: We are packing this morning to leave for MD Anderson in preparation for her surgery Thursday. The doctors will remove part of Lyn's throat in hopes of healing her cancer. Even if they are successful, she will have to undergo signifcant physical therapy in hopes of eating again. This will not be an easy road, but it is the only way to save her life. Please keep this good woman in your thoughts and prayers. I won't be on the forum, since my computer access will be quite limited, but I'll be able to check my emails fairly regularly. I'll keep you posted as best I can. Love you guys! Paul (Tubaman) |

Paul......I haven't met you but I know someone personally that has been a patient at MD Anderson and I have visited one of them in Houston and they are the best. Good luck and my thoughts are with you and Lyn.

My money is on Lyn. She's a fighter and very strong. Keeping strong and positive has worked before and will continue to work here. Let's all think positive things for Lyn and Paul. I'm wondering if I should ship a big supply of Red Bull to Houston for Paul to maintain his energy!
All of us here at MSF are there in spirit. And like Cici said, MD Anderson has a great reputation and does great work. We look forward to some good news in a few days after the surgery. |
