The show "One Day at a Time" has not been on in years, but I am here to confirm that it was a show where you knew for positive the characters got spanked. Julie and Barbara(Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli) were definitely spanked by both parents growing up. In one of the early episodes their mom is trying to get them to go to bed. They whine and say they don't want to go to bed. Then their mother, half joking and half serious, pops her hands together and declares, "You're not too old to be spanked!".
