Lady Jane is my favorite by a long shot. I guess it is the formality of the scene. The gallery, the jester stool, the lifting of the skirt, and all the rest really does it for me. I used to have the movie on VHS and I wore it out just watching that scene. I think what did it for me was the fact that the mother beat her into submission. Of course I would want a better view, and I would want it to be all real.

Agree whole heartedly with the comments about Lady Jane. The first and only time I saw the film was in the mid/late 90's on UK TV. I love history so was watching it because of that (unaware of the punishment) - I was transfixed when the scene happened but way too slow to VHS it (I was also expecting it to end a lot quicker). I've since seen clips/screen caps of it on the internet, looks like its taken from an average quality VHS recording. But I haven't seen it on TV since - a real shame.

I've never heard of Tank - must look out for it.

By far the most tantalizing movie for the spanking scene that I have seen is the secretary. Her boss is a DOM who spanks his employee for mistakes that she has made , wow what a scene that was. Of course she was hooked after that and made mistakes just so that she could get the discipline . A must see for every one in the lifestyle. I've seen the clip that RG started this thread with several times now. Amazingly, Patrick Stewart plays Jane's father in the film. Highly recommended.
