i'm surprised nobody has mentioned this show. there were lots of references to spanking, and sounds of a spanking including the behind rubbing afterwards. James standing up and grabbing his belt....classic

After there were many jokes about whether or not that was "the big one". i.e. JJ says "It must not have been the big one -- he's still walking!"
There is something especially satisfying in seeing a character who really deserves a good spanking finally get it.

The moral of the show was about nepotism, and Bobby was a hall monitor that gave a demerit to a sibling. Carol asked Cindy what would the right thing be if he was a policeman and a relative committed a traffic violation.
Cindy replied "If my son gave me a ticket, I'd give him a spanking!"
