Strange license plate
 

I saw this on a pickup the other day:
PADL HRD
You don't suppose he was talking about a canoe, do you?

LOL LOL LOL maybe kayaking??? oh that is to funny

Funny thing is, he COULD have been talking about kayaking and have no idea whatsoever that people were reading it another way! We'll just never know.

I recently hiked near a prime whitewater area and there were all kinds of t-shirts with various "paddling" sayings on them, some very applicable to our brand of fun! I even ate in the Paddlers' Lounge. For them, it's all about the rapids; alternative possibilities never seem to cross their minds. Pity.

And no, I didn't buy any shirts. I'm a hiker, not a kayaker. But, I do have one woodsy-themed shirt that says "Take A Hike." Tops can take that any way they want to.

While backpacking in GA once with a Top I had way back when, we took a few days off to go white water rafting. Way sooo cool! And of course he had to get me every sticker he could find that said "I got paddled on the Okoee River". Sadly enough though, he was too chicken shit to make it true. :D

LOL aurora!!! that really stinks...did he suddenly get noodle arm???

Come to think of it.. Ian stopped at a canoe launch somewhere between his place and Tampa to show me a sign they had. Will have to ask him what it said excactly. I was half alseep and don't remember it, but it was something along those same lines. Maybe all watersports people are spankos?

Did you see some of the T-shirts in Tennessee adelina? I know they had several about canoing/paddling but the main one I remember is "Paddle faster.....I hear banjos!" that I thought was cute, though not spank related.

They had a "hike faster....." one too though.

So the big questions for me are (1) Which state was the license plate from? and (2) Who do we know in that state? I seem to recall one or two people from our community who aren't bashful about what we do and have vanity plates that reflect that. "ISPANK" "REDBUTT" etc.

*giggles* No I don;t think so. I have a dear friend of mine that has a license plate that says: OTK4U.

I wouldn't have the courage to have an obvious spanking license plate. I mean, a lot of people see one's car, including family and vanilla friends and so forth. But a secret sort of message would be fun.

I've always liked the idea of "EMKNAPS." Or "BNCBTM." :D -- Erica

Duh!!!! I got the bouncy bottom one right away but it took me forever to figure out the spank me! ha ha

lol. If it's any consolation, iggy, I was the opposite. I was like BNCBTM? MTBCNB? Bank bottom? But I got it eventually. ;) Great plates.

my licence plate says 4lil'Red. Although my car is red, I like to think of it as a way talk about my lil'red bottom, and no one's the wiser. well, but now all of you are....hehehe

I kept seeing the emknaps one as something about kneecaps...totally the wrong body part!

I thought it stood for BareNaCed Bottom. I wouldn't have guess Bionic either. I lose!
Didn't there used to be a game show on TV like this? I think it was called Bumper Stumpers.

What if we were to adopt TTWD as part of personalized license plates. No secret to those of us in the know but not a clue to the rest of the world.

I must clearly fit into "the rest of the world" then. Because I have no clue what TTWD is!
